Tucked away in the impressive Colca Valley, this rustic-style inn features thermal baths, one of them being covered, the others being opened,of them, nestled in a majestic landscape with a view of the Colca river and dominants mountains.
Rooms are styled with rustic walls in delicate pale olive shades,of them having a view of the valley and the river. Each room has a small balcony or terraceyou can admire a splendid view.rooms have modern private bathrooms.

A full American breakfast is served in the Restaurant; this one features panoramic windows with views of the valley and serves local specialties. There is also a small central iron-cast fireplace.

El Refugio is ideally located 500 metres from Chivay’s bus station.

The hotel day starts from hour 13:00 and ends at 11:00.

Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 10%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. Please note both documents are required for fee exemption

Foreign business travellers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation.

If foreign guests share a room with Peruvian guests, then the extra tax (IVA) must be paid.

Children up to 7 years old can stay for free with their parents as long as they use existing bedding, no extra bed or breakfast included. Children from 8 to 12 years old can stay with their parents using the existing beds and paying the child rate, which does not include an additional bed, if it includes breakfast. Children 13 years and older are considered adults.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. Family Room with Balcony. .A spacious room with a king sized bed on the first floor and two single beds on the second floor. The room has a balcony on the second floor with a view of the river and the mountains. The room has a large bathroom with a hot tub. ;
Double Room with Two Double Beds. The twin rooms have two full sized beds.of them have either a terrace or a balcony with a view of the mountain. ;
Triple Room. The triple rooms have two full sized beds and a single bed.of them have a terrace with a view of the mountain. ;
Queen Room. The Suite has a king sized bed and a large bathroom with a hot tub. ;
Large Single Room. Providing free toiletries and bathrobes, this single room includes a private bathroom with a bath, a shower and a hairdryer. The single room provides a wardrobe, parquet floors, heating as well as a balcony with mountain views.
